Blockchain Education for International Students in Taiwan

Taiwan offers a unique environment for tech education. Our blockchain architecture program welcomes students from around the world who want hands-on experience in distributed systems and decentralized technologies.

Applications open for autumn 2025 intake. Program begins September 2025.

Why Study Blockchain in Taiwan?

Taiwan's tech scene is quietly impressive. It's got manufacturing roots but a growing software culture. Students here get access to both hardware innovation and emerging software practices.

Our program sits in Yilan County — less hectic than Taipei, but still connected. You'll find affordable living, friendly locals, and a learning environment that actually lets you focus.

Practical Curriculum

We teach blockchain fundamentals through building actual projects. Smart contracts, consensus algorithms, network architecture. Less theory, more code.

English-Language Instruction

All courses delivered in English. Local students join too, which creates interesting cross-cultural project teams.

Industry Connections

Taiwan's tech companies are exploring blockchain applications. We arrange guest lectures and project collaborations with local firms.

Support Services That Actually Help

Moving to a new country for education is complicated. We've built support systems based on what past international students told us they needed most.

Housing Assistance

We maintain relationships with local landlords and help with lease negotiations. Most students find apartments within walking distance of campus.

Visa Navigation

Taiwan's student visa process is manageable but has specific requirements. We guide you through documentation and ARC application.

Language Exchange

Optional Mandarin classes and conversation partners. Useful for daily life, though not required for coursework.

Work Permits

Students can work part-time with proper permits. We help navigate regulations and connect you with on-campus opportunities.

Health Insurance

Taiwan's National Health Insurance is affordable and comprehensive. We assist with enrollment after arrival.

Cultural Integration

Local festivals, food tours, hiking groups. Ways to experience Taiwan beyond the classroom.

International Programs Coordinator

"I moved to Taiwan from Denmark in 2019. The adjustment takes a few weeks, but the tech community here is welcoming. My job is making sure international students have practical support when they need it — not just orientation speeches."

"Students come from different educational backgrounds. Some have computer science degrees, others are career changers. I help bridge those gaps so everyone can keep up with the blockchain curriculum. Office hours are actually used here."
